He began his career in accountancy before working his way up from a carer in an advanced dementia care home, progressed to care home manager, and became a practice manager in the NHS resposible for providing primary care services, later also serving as an NHS Consultant, gaining hands-on experience across health, care and organisational leadership. As Power of Attorney for two loved ones, he brings personal accountability and a deep understanding of the challenges faced by patients and families, which drives his commitment to better dementia care, improved health outcomes for women, and more responsive mental health services.
KJ has a keen interest and instinct for entire business management, strategy, sustainable growth, and performance. This was recognised by NHS regulators in every GP practice he successfully turned around, transforming failing surgeries into high-performing, compliant, and patient-focused organisations. He achieved this by training staff, implementing new standard operating procedures and policies, reducing call volume, and making healthcare more accessible to all. Combined with his qualifications in Accountancy and Business Management, KJ blends frontline experience with strategic, financial and operational expertise to deliver real, measurable results.
As Volunteer Chairman and Founder of The Community Impact Project and former Director of MIND, a leading mental health charity, he is passionate about social justice, community impact and helping organisations succeed. During the COVID-19 pandemic, KJ ran the first drop-in vaccination clinic in his town, open to anyone registered with the NHS, achieving coverage what would be almost 70% of the local population although appointments where offered to any NHS registered patients attracting people from surrounding areas.
He also safeguarded essential MIND crisis cafés from closure, ensuring vital mental health support remained accessible. Beyond this, he is deeply engaged in raising knife crime awareness and understanding the underlying risks that lead to violence in communities.
KJ works closely with clients to turn ambition into tangible outcomes whether improving operations, growing business or impact, or strengthening community presence.
